2. Hydrogen Fluoride is a colorless, inorganic acid with a pungent odor. 3. This substance is used for the production of fluorine containing materials such as refrigerants, pharmaceuticals, and various applications in the chemical and metal industries.
4. Hydrogen Fluorine is very harmful. Inhaling this substance may cause immediate or delayed – onset pulmonary edema.
5. Straight carbon has a limited capacity for Hydrogen Fluoride. The use of appropriate specially impregnated carbon is recommended.
